The awards are based upon the input of 200 industry analysts worldwide, including a significant proportion from Gartner. They rated Xerox (and our competitors) on five key effectiveness scores: 1) Access to Executives; 2) Quality and Availability of References; 3) Efficacy of Communications; 4) Responsiveness; 5) Overall Effectiveness.
Ursula ranked No. 22 on Forbes 2014 list. From a preliminary group of over 300 candidates from around the world, Forbes selects the 100 most influential women from eight categories or power bases: billionaires, business, celebrity, finance, media, philanthropy and intergovernmental organizations, politics and technology. To determine the rank within each category, as well as overall rank on the list of 100, they apply four metrics: money, media presence, spheres of influence and impact.
The list is compiled in partnership with Corporate Knights Capital and leading sustainability minds from nongovernmental organizations and the academic and accounting communities. Newsweek has ranked the world's largest companies on corporate sustainability and environmental impact.
With more than 400 entries from around the world, the ACE Awards have been running for 33 years, and are hailed by The New York Times as "one of the industry's best creative awards" as they recognize the year's top creative campaigns and initiatives from some of the brightest agencies and clients from around the world.

August 25 - 29, 2005: Hurricane Katrina becomes one of the most destructive storms in the history of the Gulf Coast, killing nearly 2,000 and leaving millions homeless. Red Cross mobilizes its largest, single disaster relief effort to date. Two subsequent hurricanes of significant strength hit, Rita and Wilma, compounding the devastation and impacting relief operations.
Protection began for presidential candidate Illinois Senator Barack Obama in May, the earliest initiation of Secret Service protection for any candidate in history. Presidential candidate New York Senator Hillary Clinton already received protection before she entered the race due to her status as former first lady.

Nestlé & Anglo Swiss merges with Swiss company Alimentana, which produces Maggi soups, bouillons and seasonings. It's renamed Nestlé Alimentana. Alimentana's history dates back to 1884, when Julius Maggi developed a protein-rich dried soup to tackle malnutrition.
After expanding its ice-cream business in the 1990s, Nestlé acquires the licensing rights to premium ice cream Häagen-Dazs in the US and Canada. The business also buys Mövenpick and Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream in 2003. Aside from the world of ice-cream, Nestlé acquires frozen foods business Chef America for USD 2.6 billion.

Greater voter enfranchisement was met with fresh resistance and in 2013, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act in its ruling on Shelby County v. Holder, paving the way for states and jurisdictions with a history of voter suppression to enact restrictive voter identification laws. A whopping 23 states created new obstacles to voting in the decade leading up to the 2018 elections, according to the nonpartisan coalition Election Protection.
USCIS began overseeing refugee admissions to the U.S. when it began operations on March 1, 2003. Before then, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) administered refugee admissions. While the Model T dominated the auto industry from 1908 to the early 1920s, by the middle of the decade there was fierce competition from other automakers. After the 15 millionth Model T drove off the assembly line on May 26, 1927, Ford closed plants all over the world to spend six months retooling factories and perfecting the design of a new car.
