[S1E2] Just Set Up The Chairs
With the park scheduling a child's birthday, Benson assigns jobs to do for the other six groundskeepers. Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost are in charge of picking up the special entertainment, Skips must inflate the bouncy castle, and Benson needs to pick up the children. Pops offers balloons, but Benson refuses, causing Pops to be carried away by his balloons as he sulks. All that is left is for Mordecai and Rigby to set up the chairs for the party, as Benson cannot trust them with something important. In order to prove that they are reliable, the duo agree to finish the boring job of setting up the chairs without slacking off in exchange for not having to do it next time.
[S1E2] Just Set Up the Chairs
Once they start, Mordecai wants to finish the job and Rigby wants to slack off, causing conflict, but Mordecai talks Rigby into continuing by reminding him that next time they might be picking up the special entertainment. At first, the job seems to go well, but they soon run out of chairs with only 37 of the 50 needed for the party, and soon head off to the storage room. In the room, they find several old arcade games, and they both proceed to play them, this however causes them to forget about setting up the chairs.
With help from Skips - who is angry that Mordecai and Rigby ignored his note - the duo form a giant arcade graphics robot designed to fight the Destroyer of Worlds in which each of them are controlling one body part. However, Skips is knocked out, and Mordecai goes off to set up the rest of the chairs, leaving Rigby to control the robot all by himself. In order to save Mordecai, Rigby's excessive button mashing is powerful enough to destroy the Destroyer of Worlds and he saves the day, though with massive damage left to the park.
Mordecai then congratulates Rigby on a job well done, even praising his button mashing abilities. But during their celebration, a furious Benson comes out of the pit behind them and, in a rage, tells them that he will never trust Mordecai and Rigby to do another important job, such as setting up the chairs, ever again, and tells them to clean up the mess, starting with the special entertainment. When he storms off, Mordecai and Rigby agree to take a break.
When Mordecai and Rigby are assigned to set up chairs for a birthday party, they choose to play an old arcade game instead and accidentally unleash a chaotic villain from the game and must defeat it before it destroys the park.
Dr. Foreman got under my skin, back when I was watching House M.D. but I have never found myself disliking Omar Epps on sight, the way I disliked him during this hour of television. It speaks to how great he is, that he has made me hate Isaac so passionately just two episodes in!
What a disgrace to the uniform! I mean, granted, we still don't know the entire story, so maybe there is a valid reason why he set up his former brother in arms, but as it stands now, he's just a special kind of despicable.
It turns out, the President of the United States was not the one killed. The President of Ukraine was. I just want to know more about this global conspiracy to assassinate the Ukrainian president and where everyone fits into it!
Isaac went through a lot of trouble trying to set up Bob Lee for this crime. I just want to know why?! Bob Lee does too! It just doesn't seem like a particularly smart move to foist this elaborate scheme on someone like Bob Lee!
Bob Lee even knew that they wouldn't just let him live in prison. Common sense said that he would be taken out well before he even made it to a trial. Sure enough they went ahead and explored the whole corrupt prison system route.
There must be more to this CC case than meets the eye, surely? This just feels too tidy and wrapped up a little too neatly after so many potential suspects. Then again, we could be looking at an episodic series with different cases every week so we shall see.
Unbeknownst to Joey, Chandler has already taken his revenge by hiding all of Joey's underwear, forcing him to go commando in a rented tux. Joey promises to do the "opposite" of Chandler hiding his underwear, and emerges wearing everything Chandler owns (and still without underwear). Ross finally steps in and bans them from the function, and apologetically asks Rachel what he can do to make it up to her, to which Joey suggests that he drink the glass of chicken fat. Ross agrees, but Rachel stops him just in time. Overwhelmed by the depths of his love for her, she dresses in record time while Ross sorts out Joey and Chandler's argument, and Monica makes her final disastrous access to Richard's answering machine. She breaks into his voicemail again to erase all his messages and record a new one. However, she accidentally deletes and re-records his outgoing message, humiliating herself.
The boys bring Eleven leftovers for dinner, and Dustin and Lucas apologize for their rude behavior, Lucas still a little mistrustful. They explain the concept of a friend when she asks. Hopper wonders aloud to a woman he is sleeping with if he is cursed, as there has not been a suicide in Hawkins for twenty years and a missing person in sixty. Sitting at Mike's Dungeons & Dragons board, Eleven picks up the cleric figure, identifying it as Will. She flips the board upside down and places the cleric on it, saying he is "hiding." When Mike asks what from, she places the figure of the Demogorgon next to the cleric. Searching for Will, Jonathan snaps pictures of the places in Mirkwood where his bike was found. He hears a scream, but realizes it is just Steve's party when he hurries to it. Barb Holland, who Nancy has brought along and is clearly out of place, cuts her hand when trying to open a beer. Jonathan takes pictures of the party from afar.
Monk, on the other hand, believes otherwise. He thinks that the murderer intended to kill Vasques from the beginning. When asked how he came to said conclusion, he proposes the idea that the killer had entered her home wearing her slippers to avoid leaving footprints and then had been waiting for her for about an hour, smoking cigarettes in the meantime, judging from the scent of cigarettes in the room. Another police officer suggests that perhaps Vasques was a smoker, which Monk rules out since she was a Dutch Calvinist. Furthermore, Monk observes that the killer must've been roughly 6'3" tall, since the victim was a mere 5'4" and the chair was significantly too low for her, suggesting that the killer had adjusted it before sitting on it. He also mentions that the computer's keyboard has no fingerprints on it, most likely because the killer used it and wiped it clean afterward.
As St. Claire concludes his speech, Miranda joins him on stage. The band begins to play and balloons are released into the air. And just before the balloons threaten to block his view, the painter opens fire on the stage. The first bullet strikes St. Claire's bodyguard Jason Ronstadt, killing him instantly. The second bullet hits the stage and the third hits the ground, narrowly missing Miranda. Frantically, Lloyd points out the shooter's location to the cops on security detail, just as a newspaper photographer snaps his photo.
Later, while Monk is walking down the street, he is nearly run down by someone in a car (in fact, the only reason he isn't killed is because his OCD state forces him to go back in the other direction to touch a Stop sign post that he missed, just narrowly missing the collision). Monk escapes, but in his OCD state, he can't resist touching and counting every parking meter on the way, and thus can not identify the person's license plate number.
Upstairs, Sykes gets up from his wheelchair and looks out the window, just in time to see the police gearing up. Down below, multiple marked police cars screech to a halt in front of his building and a SWAT team runs towards the entrance. Meanwhile, Monk and Sharona dart across the street to their car. Sharona thinks Stottlemeyer wants them out of the way while he takes all the credit for himself. She then finds her cell phone battery is dead and tells Monk she's leaving to find a phone to check in on Benjy. Sharona starts to leave while Monk watches the police arriving in front of Sykes's building.
Ms Casey opens the entrance door to the Wellness therapy room and invites Irving in. The two men nod to each other in farewell. Once Ms Casey and Irving have settled into their chairs, she dims the lights, which are meant to look like skylights, and turns the sound from birds chirping to new age music with crickets. The room has a natural spa atmosphere, with a humidifier and a large piece of drift wood on a small table in the center. There is a tree as a houseplant and wood-toned paneling.
Helly asks Dylan if there are code detecters in the stairwells just like in the elevators. She wonders if anyone even reads the resignation requests. Dylan tells her to let it go. Helly asks if the scanners could read it if she writes the letters sort of crooked.

Jessica prepares to rob a store to Ian and Becky's protests. Jessica warns them that their lives as they know them are over, and that they must "adapt or die." Ian reluctantly gives her the gun and she walks towards the shop. Later, Jessica purchases heroin for Wilson as a makeshift painkiller while Becky and Ian change into their new clothes. The group drive their car out to a remote area and Jessica blows it up. Driving in their new van, Jessica privately tells Ian that she had not picked up Wilson's father, justifying it as doing it to keep them moving and alive. Ian laments the absurdity of the situation. Michael Dugdale tries to get the Russian flu vaccine cancelled by finding a loophole in their contract, but Geoff Lawson dismisses him by snidely commenting on his affair with and impregnation of Anya, threatening to tell his wife if he does not cooperate.
