Nijigasaki High School Idol Club produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks, directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura, and written by Jin Tanaka, aired between October 3 and December 26, 2020.[17] It was also streamed live through the Bandai Channel, Line Live, and YouTube Live.[18] A second season aired between April 2 and June 25, 2022.[19]

After a mild hiatus from touring and the 2003 Japan-only release of Across the Concrete Sky, Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell hit the road in 2004 and produced what is their first official live record. How it came to pass that nearly three decades went by, and a slew of greatest-hits compilations were issued, but why no live records were recorded during that period is a bit of a mystery, especially because one of the duo's greatest strengths were their live performances. They play simply the hits here, and it's a wise decision, as their recent material doesn't even come close to holding up when compared to their brilliant releases of the '70s and '80s. The performances are still top form, with Graham Russell's voice every bit as passionate as it was back when his hair wasn't so gray. All Out of Love also comes accompanied by a matching concert DVD, complete with behind the scenes footage and interviews.
In January 2016, Love Live! Sunshine!! live streamed a special announcement regarding Aqours joining the Love Live! School Idol Festival rhythm game app starting in July 2016.[28] In the game, the Aqours idols get their own stories, new songs, and cards. KLab also added R rarity cards for each Aqours members, even though they were only voiced after July. In June 2016, Chika and Riko were featured in the in-game regular events for the first time. A spin-off game which includes Aqours, Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars, released in September 2019.
The nine idols of Aqours are grouped into three subunits: CYaRon! (You, Ruby and Chika), Azalea (stylized in all-caps; Dia, Kanan and Hanamaru), and Guilty Kiss (Yoshiko, Riko and Mari).[35] Five of Aqours' singles include an anime music video, while another features a live action music video starring the nine voice actresses of the characters.

The idol life is a busy one, so the beloved Love Live! School Idol Festival mobile game is already eyeing a swift return as the "Miracle Live!" sequel after the recently announced shutdown date of March 31! An information livestream held today revealed a Spring 2023 launch, along with a main visual and other details about the game.
Pre-registration for Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live! is already live here (Japan only). A key visual for each of the four Love Live! groups will be revealed weekly at real-life locations across February and the start of March in the leadup to the game's launch.
The developers are also making sure that part of the players' progress in the game will live on in the upcoming sequel. Specifically, the Album will transfer to the new title, while fans will also receive rewards in it according to their progress in the original Love Live! School Idol Festival.
Love Live! School Idol Festival is dead, long live Love Live! School Idol Festival 2. Shortly after breaking hearts by announcing the end of service for the original Love Live game, developer KLab and publisher Bushiroad confirmed its sequel. Formally titled Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live!, the game will launch for iOS and Android devices in Spring 2023.
Speaking to Deadline about stepping down as Love Life's lead, Kendrick said: "Now that I'm not the lead of the show, I feel like I'm finally allowed to say, 'I love this f***ing show so much. It's so good!' I watched Will's [Jackson Harper] episodes and I'm like, 'Damn, this is just so good.'"

I think that's why Will [Jackson Harper] is so fantastic this season, that you just instantly lock in with him, and then hopefully people start to think outside the box in all love stories."
Music has always been a huge part of anime, from the rousing opening numbers that kick off shonen action to the melancholy closers that pull the curtains on seinen heartbreak. In some anime it's part of the backdrop, while in others it's brought to the forefront, taking a prominent player in the story and characters' lives.
Kanata Konoe's "Butterfly" is sweet and sentimental, touching on love, personal potential, and so much more. It doesn't have the raucous energy of some other songs in Love Live! but it more than makes up for this with the depth of feeling it brings. Energetic pop songs are wonderful, but sometimes they feel superficial. "Butterfly" feels like it touches on something genuine. This song shows exactly why many fans rank Love Live! amongst the best music anime.
Anyway, loved the show more than I ever thought I would. Easily my favorite idol anime, and definitely one of my favorite of all time. That final episode also ended up as my all-time favorite episode in an anime. I have never cried so much during an episode
I just plain love this series. I love cheering these girls on and watching their growth not just as school idols, but as friends. I really feel their energy into doing what they love and that makes me want to do the same.
Overall, the second season of Love Live! Sunshine!! offers a very satisfying conclusion to the series as it emerges out of the shadow of its predecessor, taking its own direction with a familiar story and allowing it to show its full potential. Despite it being, at times, a bit over-dramatic and having a disappointing English dub, this is a great series with a charming cast of characters, great animation, and catchy music that fans of the franchise are sure to love.

During that last year, I was nominated to compete to be one of the Senior Men for my graduating class, one of the most prestigious awards at our school. Reflecting on the last four years, I searched for meaning in what had been one of the most intensely emotional times of my life. I recalled traveling all over the country with rowing, competing in multiple marathons and winning nationals twice. I mused on my time as an honors student having heated discussions over the nature of the BP oil spill and rediscovering the excitement of activism. I thought about all the people who touched my life; friends I now call family, professors I now call friends, and a rowing team that loved me almost as much as I loved them. And I relived the fall semester of my senior year when, on a whim, I hopped aboard a sailboat to sail around the Caribbean for months (sea.edu), getting school credit and enough inspiration to fuel the rest of my life. If I had told my high school self that this was the life I was about to live, I would have scoffed and said something snide. Now I was a Shocker and I would let everyone I meet know what that meant.
Moving, graduating, and winning the Senior Man award were just the beginning of an even bigger journey. Weeks after my family attended graduation, I found myself in California improving my proficiency in Spanish, a requirement at the international graduate school I would start in the fall (miis.edu). Graduate school isn't for everyone and I certainly don't recommend starting it weeks after completing undergrad, but I needed to be somewhere new, working towards making the world a better place than I found it. Studying the complexities of coastal resource management, taking graduate level courses in a second language, and living in one of the most beautiful areas of our country made my decision more than worth it. During my two years in the breathtaking Monterey, I saw two new countries, I was president of our student council, I fell in love with the place, and I determined what my greatest passions in life are.
Reluctantly, I left California to return to my home watershed of the Chesapeake Bay to live in the woods and teach children to appreciate that natural world (ehos.org), and I loved every minute of it. The sparkle in their eyes when some complex concept made sense enlightened my soul, an experience only teachers know. I was paid, not much, to catch snakes and play in the mud with the occasional zip line or wall climb. My year on the Eastern Shore was split only by a trip to Lima, Peru to serve as a youth delegate and writer at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 20th Conference of Parties (COP20). I meet delegates and activists from all over the world and had the chance to cross visiting Machu Picchu off my bucket list. Again, my life was changed, moments before a decade old dream came to fruition.
3. Love - Love people, love places, and learn to love not having things. Love is more powerful at changing lives than travel or service combined. So give in to love. Let people know that you love them. Open your heart up to love the place your in. Experience love not as a word reserved to family and significant others but as a feeling of appreciation in the miracle that is the blue green planet and the people who inhabit it.
4. Live - You will be offered chances. Know them. Take them. Board the sailboat and set sail on a new journey. Life is meant to be lived, which means taking advantage of all the crazy opportunities that appear day to day.
