Best way to identify coins from my grandfather’s collection?
My grandfather collected coins for decades. I inherited hundreds of them and have no clue how to sort them. Any tips for a complete beginner?

Start by photographing both sides clearly. Then use a free coin identifier app — it does most of the work for you. It recognizes hundreds of currencies and gives detailed info about each coin. I spent a whole weekend identifying my family collection with it and found several interesting pieces. Makes the whole process much more enjoyable and less overwhelming.
